Sponsorship Donation Form.pdf
Web of Benefit is pleased to announce a new and unique way to help survivors of domestic violence: Sponsorship Circles. The mission of a Sponsorship Circle is to fund one or more Self-Sufficiency Grants of $500 each. These circles may include a group of friends or co-workers or a family.
By combining smaller donations into a larger gift of $500, Sponsorship Circles can change a womans life. The grants will aid in the reclamation of the power of the feminine spirit by assisting women in reaching their highest potential, free from the threat of violence. Individually designed grants will be awarded for housing stabilization, education, technology, transportation costs, micro-financing and more.
Each Sponsorship Circle will receive: background information about the grantee, the grantees dreams and goals, and specifics of the grant award. After one year, each Sponsorship Circle will receive a follow-up report describing the grantees successes and good works performed under our Pay-It-Forward philosophy. Please contact Johanna Crawford, Executive Director, at 617-285-1900 or jsc_webofbenefit.org for more information.
Rings For Dreams
Web of Benefit, Inc. has recently launched a national fundraising campaign named Rings for Dreams. Rings for Dreams is designed to be an efficient and effective way for women to donate their unwanted wedding rings and other gold jewelry in a meaningful, tax-deductable manner. These donations will support individual Self-Sufficiency Grants for survivors of domestic violence.
By combining smaller donations into total of $500, a grant this size can change a womans life. WOB collaborates with a local gold processor, bypassing the jewelry-buying middleman, to sell the gold for the highest price. This not only gives the greatest benefit to survivors of domestic violence, but creates the maximum tax-deductible donation for each piece given.
The gold is valued by karat, weight, and current market price per ounce. By dealing directly with our processor, we will be able to utilize 98% of the maximum amount received for each item. Only 2% of proceeds will go to the processor. See www.ringsfordreams.org for more information.
