Quotation from a Collaborator:
"I cannot say enough good things about Web of Benefit. However, there is no doubt in my mind that what I appreciate most is the model by which assistance is provided. The women I am working with have already told their stories countless times to a variety of people, the majority of whom never really provided assistance of any sort. Instead, women are forced to jump through hoops, being bounced around from one agency to another in pursuit of assistance they are eventually told does not presently exist of that they will not get it because they do not meet the very narrow (and very arbitrary) eligibility criteria.
I have worked in social services in a variety of settings for over eleven years now and have never encountered another program that had such a low threshold to entry. For the populations I am serving, I believe this is an extremely beneficial component. Web of Benefit provides assistance without judgment or criticism for the past. No one is denied for not having the "right" documentation (as many women seeking assistance in other settings are berated about never having involved law enforcement or not attempting to prosecute their abuser), nor is anyone denied for earning "too much" while they are in fact subsisting on poverty level wages that could not possibility cover all household expenses."

A Word from Family Rescue
It may seem like small thing to some, but encouraging women who have been scarred by abuse not only to believe in a future, but dream big in the process is huge. Thats what your organization does by awarding Self- Sufficiency Grants to domestic violence survivors.
Your positive approach and enthusiasm is contagious, and our clients have expressed their gratitude.
Many times, I have thought, what a benefit it would be to a certain client if only we had the funds to provide a laptop to support an education goal or employment opportunity. Web of Benefit has been a solution to many of my if only dilemmas.
